Dr Georgina King is an Otolaryngology Consultant, working across both the public and private sector. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at University of Adelaide in 2003 and then obtained her Surgical Fellowship Qualification from the
Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2012.
She has gone on to complete additional training in the field of Advanced Paediatric Otolaryngology subspecialising in advanced airway management and gaining a qualification
of Fellowship with the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne in 2013. She has also had further leadership training graduating from the Macquarie Business School Advanced Leadership Program.
Dr King practices in both adult and paediatric Ear Nose and Throat surgery. Her subspecialty interest in Paediatric Ear Nose and Throat Surgery includes management of obstructive sleep apnoea, recurrent otitis media, hearing concerns, nasal breathing concerns as well as other
airway pathologies. Surgeries range from tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommets and advanced airway assessment.
Dr King also performs general adult Ear, Nose and Throat surgery encompassing Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology. She has previously worked throughout South Australia and Northern Territory.
Dr King holds a public hospital position at Nepean Hospital. Here she participates in clinical sessions such as outpatient clinics and operating as well teaching, training, leadership roles and mentorship.
Privately, Dr King will be operating at Nepean Private Hospital. She will be consulting in her rooms at 144 Lethbridge Street Penrith.
